This Sunday our U19 squad face Carrick United in the Munster Cup Semi Final in Ozier Park with a 2pm KO. The girls go into the match on the back of two good wins in the previous rounds of the competition.

On the Second Round the girls played Club DC who play in the North Tipperary League and won 3-2 after extra time. Emily O Reilly had the distinction of becoming out first ever scorer at U19 level with a stunning free kick. Captain Maggie Gostl scored our second and third goals including the winner in extra time.

The semi final saw us face Cork outfit Carraigaline United at Ben Wadding Park. A brilliant first half saw the girls lead 4-0 at the break. The girls ended up 5-1 winners with Zoey Croke netting four goals with Maggie Gostl our other scorer.

In the league the girls are currently top and in January defeated Carrick. However with a place in the Munster Final at stake it promises to be a great match between two well matched sides. Our squad is very young with no players up on the age and the majority made up from our U16 and U17 squads.

This squad suffered the heartbreak of losing on penalties at the Semi Final stage at U17 level last season so will be determined to put that behind them and progress to the Final.

Best of luck girls ye can do it ❤️🖤
